Who are we?

Brianna Davis was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois and moved to Atlanta after high school. She is the founder of Journey Through Physics, holds a Master’s degree in Physics from Clark Atlanta University and a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from Spelman College. She completed a fellowship to earn a Master of Arts in Teaching in STEM Education at Mercer University. Brianna has taught, tutored and mentored students in physics and mathematics. She believes every student has the aptitude to learn anything and understand that each student has unique learning needs. She utilizes differentiated instruction to identify students' individual strengths and weaknesses in order to provide the proper tools and resources to address any academic obstacle.

In her spare time, Brianna enjoys ballet, contemporary and modern dancing, traveling, spending time with her husband, and learning about new and unique ways to be creative!

Titus Davis was born and raised in Decatur Georgia. As a young child, he was very interested in aviation and even wanted to become a pilot. While researching the necessary academic fields he would need to master, his love for math and science developed. He later became a math major in college. During a summer internship, he worked as a tutor and teacher’s assistant for an high-school engineering summer course. Due to his experience in this program, his passion for working with students was born. He has been a K-12 grade math tutor for 5+ years. He especially is passionate about working with elementary and middle school scholars, because he feels he can make the most impact in their young lives before they transition to high school. Their energy and liveliness are a plus!

 

Titus enjoys traveling, eating spicy foods, cycling, spending time with his wife, and playing video games.
